Although the June holiday is going to end soon, and the mood is a little sad, I got to enjoy my second last day to the fullest.



I could remember that on the night before, I couldn't fall asleep even though I knew I was tired and eventually slept at 12 midnight plus. At around 3am, I woke up then switched on my room light and went back to sleep. LOL. Next, my handphone alarm clocks began ringing from 4.20am to 5am but I only woke up at 5. ;D After washing up, I changed and was ready to go as I had packed my bag the night before. (: My dad brought us there [he didn't went with us. ): ]. We were like the second or third passenger to reach there. It was so quiet like we were going into hiding. ;D Slowly more people came and it gradually became noisier. (: There were two buses, Bus A and Bus B. Sadly, Clarise's family was not in the same bus as Germaine, Elaine and me. We were in Bus A. Donevant's family were in Bus B [this information is important otherwise you would not understand what I am talking about]. I sat with Germaine on the bus while Elaine sat with their younger sister, Charmaine. ;D Soon, we were on our way to the custom. (:



Luckily there weren't any jam at the custom. Shortly we left the Singapore custom, we reached Malaysia's custom. We reached the custom really fast. Next, all of us went to have our breakfast at some coffeshop. As there were two buses, it meant that there were 80 plus people. In addition, our bus came in behind bus B. So there weren't much seats for the people in bus A to sit. But since my family weren't hungry, we just took away some Siew Mai and Ha Gao. The Siew Mai and Ha Gao were not nice at all. ): As there was a shop nearby, we went in to see. Nothing much inside. It was the usual, food. Fortunately, my family went in earlier so it wasn't really crowded. My sister and I bought chewing gums while my mother bought some snacks.



While we were looking at some snacks before paying, Donevant and his family came. And I got to say that Donevant buys things really fast because when my mother was going to pay the cashier, Donevant had already bought his things. As usual, I carried the bag for my mother first as she keep her change. Then Donevant asked me if the bag was heavy. I pretended that it was and asked him to help me carry. Surprisingly, he helped me to carry it. My mother laughingly said thanks for him helping us to carry. Of course, he only carried for like a few moments because I took them back. But still, it was sweet of him to do it. ;DDDDD

Finally, the bus opened its doors. Next, we proceeded to the ostrich farm. It was a 30 minute trip [?] so I listened music while the majority of the passengers watched Fireproof. Upon reaching the ostrich farm, there was a stench. No words can describe it. After a few steps, we saw ostriches and roosters in an area confined by a wooden fence, though the roosters can escape out since the wooden fence are quite wide apart and they are horizontal.

We walked deeper inside and a man was waiting there for us. He explained the what the ostrich farm do and some other information of ostriches. I only listened for a few minutes as it was seriously boring. Then I walked around the farm with my sister and my mother. We took pictures here and there. (: We also saw a monkey. It / He was so cute! ;DDD Before we left the ostriches and proceeded to the gift shop, my mother took a picture of my sister and I holding an ostrich egg. My sister wanted to stand on it and hence I held her but she literally jumped from the ground to the egg. I almost lost my balance as I didn't expect that.

So, as I mentioned above, we went to the gift shop. They sell many things like bookmarks with ostrich feathers, pens with an ostrich feather, ostrich egg lantern, toilet paper holder and many more. They also sell ice cream, ostrich meat satay, ostrich meat burger. Ewwww. We stayed there for 5 minutes, playing and fooling around. Just a few moments after my family boarded the bus, Timothy boarded the bus too. Donevant also came up but wasn't following him. I don't know why but my mother told me that Donevant was looking for me. I was like 'Huh?'. Then we, once again, sat on the bus to go a seafood restaurant to have our lunch.

The tour guide said that there would be air-conditioned. Germaine and I were so excited as we were warm but we were disappointed when we reached there. It turned out that the air-conditioned place was taken by another tour. ): So we had to sit outside. The waitress poured tea for those who wanted tea and later on poured water. Then Germaine wanted ice cubes. Almost immediately, a waitress with a bucket of ice cubes came. Talk about good service! ;D We ate fried prawns, steamed fish, crabs, fishball soup and dishes that I had long forgotten.

As Germaine, Elaine, Clarise, the young kids and I ate our fill already, we went to explore the area. We found a dog, chained and another rooster. When the adults finished eating, it was raining but it didn't stop us from doing some shopping! ;D My family, Elaine's family and Donevant's family went to the opposite side to shop. My mother walked into a shoe shop and began exploring it. I was only interested in the sneakers and so I stayed near the entrance of the shop. There, we spotted Aunt Jac and Joshua. Later, Elaine's family and Donevant's family came in too. Germaine was playing with Joshua outside the store and I, having nothing to do, watched them. Donevant was outside the store with his dad.

Then Donavant asked me why I was so quiet. LOL. I replied that I had nothing to do and nobody was talking to me so I was quiet. He said something but I couldn't remember. ): Next, he asked me to pull Joshua's pants down. I was like "we're in a public place in malaysia". Instead of doing it, asked him to do it. He then asked that if he really did it, what would I give him [something like that]. I answered that I would give him money. I know that it was a stupid answer but I could think of anything better at that time. Donevant smile at my answer. ;DDDDD

Mum finally finished exploring the shop and wanted to go to the next shop which sells snacks. It was crowded. So my mother just walked in to glance and went out pretty soon. As we walked out of the store, Elaine's family and Donevant's family went in. LOL. Clarise's family was inside the store too. My mother having nothing to do, thought that we [my sister and I] had nothing to do too, decided to go back and board the bus. [That above sentence was purely my thought.]

When everyone had board the bus, we head off to the fruit farm. We alighted the bus and walked through the fruit farm. Germaine and I were snapping pictures of flowers, weird stuffs like a small brown durain. We weren't really listening to the female staff who was explaining the trees and fruits. Then we walked onto an 'open area'. I called it an 'open area' because there weren't any trees there. There was also a shop that sells drinks. Next to it was an exhibition. Germaine, Elaine and my family went to the exhibition first then to the shop.

At the shop, my mother bought two bottles of ribena, one for her, one for my sister. I didn't buy because I didn't trust the drinks they serve. And I was right about not trusting the drinks because the ribena my mother bought did not taste like ribena. LOL. Germaine was sitting on a wooden bench in a miniature garden and I went to her. Next, we looked at the fishes in the pond. The people in Bus B were also there. That means Clarise's family was there too! We [Elaine, Germaine and I] went to Clarise's side. Though their guide continued with the explanation of the trees, we still stayed with Clarise. Hehe(: Germaine, Elaine and Clarise were some distance away from me as they were looking at something. I wanted to be 'good' and stayed to listened to the guide. Then I heard footsteps coming my way. I tried to guess whose footsteps that were. I thought they belonged to some other passenger but I was wrong. They were Donevant's. He asked me if I saw his parents. I replied that I did not know. ): After a few more moments, some aunt came informing Elaine, Germaine and I to go back to our group.

Finally, we were almost finishing the walk. Germaine and spotted the washroom and we went to it. It will probably the worst toilet I have been to. There weren't any lightings and the floor is extremely dirty. There weren't any flushing buttons at all. You had to pour water into the toilet bowl. Argh.

After using the washroom, we went to where the rest were, looking at animals. There were goats, chickens, roosters, monkeys, turtle, rabbits, owls, some other species of birds and crocodile. I didn't really enjoyed it as I do not like animals.

Then we board the bus to another place which is still in the fruit farm. We had a talk about bees there. My mother bought a bottle of honey there. I shan't elaborate more. Next was durian eating time. Almost all of the people were there. Elaine wasn't there because she doesn't like durians. I did not fancy eating durians then so I joined Elaine. Elaine was in a hut made of wood and was above the lake. It was really nice. Soon, Donevant, Dylan, Dominic, Timothy came in and sat on the benches there. Germaine and Clarise also came in, holding durians to tease Elaine. The three of them were running around. I was not in the 'running around' mood so I sat on one of the benches. Afterwards, the three girls joined me. Then Germaine and Clarise went away to get more durians to eat. Elaine also went to look after kids. Then Clarise came back and we chat.

An aunt brought a durian to Donevant and his pals and help them to open. Donevant offered me to eat but I refused. Next, I went to the gift shop with my sister and mother, leaving the rest to eat their durians. The soft toys were extremely adorable! Bags, clothes, accessories, hats were also sold. Besides that, another part of the shop sold snacks and fresh fruits. After paying for the stuffs my mother bought, Donevant and his pals entered. LOL. After giving my mother the bags, I went to find Elaine, Germaine and Clarise. We entered the shop and looked around. We met Donevant at the clothes department. As there were charms [风铃] hanging from the ceiling, Donevant went towards it, wanting to see if he was tall enough to touch them with his head. Of course he touched them. Elaine touched them too(: Germaine and I went to explore by our own while Elaine and Clarise went somewhere else.

Then, Germaine and I couldn't find them. We searched the whole shop but only to no avail. We went out of the shop and started looking for them. Germaine went to search in the deeper parts while I went to ask my mother. On my way to ask my mother, I saw Donevant, standing at front area in his bus. He used his hands to mimic a gun and pointed and shot at me. I couldn't refrain from laughing. He laughed too. LOL. After I knew the whereabouts of Elaine and their mother, I went to inform Germaine. Then I boarded the bus.

We were on our way to eat our dinner. The dinner dishes were very much the same as our lunch. We were rushing to finish them quickly because we had to rush to the place to watch fireflies.

Although fireflies came out at late 7pm, we had to reach the place by 6.30pm as we had to be the first to watch. This is because if we were to watch the fireflies at a later timing, we would also leave Malaysia at a later time.

While waiting, Elaine, Germaine, Clarise and I explored the place. There were several dogs. As there was a slope towards the swamp, we went down. The area near the swamp was covered with mud and those people who have shoes with little friction are not advisable to be there as they can fall into the swamp. Germaine and I walked to the muddy part and we were soon joined by Elaine and Clarise. Clarise walked a few steps deeper than us and she almost fell into the swamp. Luckily Germaine and I caught her before she fell. What a shock for us all!

For the remaining time, the whole group sang praises of the Lord. Finally, we are able to board the boat. We wore our life jackets and boarded the boat. Germaine wanted to sit at the extreme back so we sat at the last seats. Our parents were all sitting in front of us. Donevant and his pals were on the seats before our parents.

Truthfully, it was a boring trip. Although it was quite fascinating looking at the lights blinking on and off but other than that, it was boring. The interesting moments were when Clarise's dad and Elaine's and Germaine's younger sister, Charmaine both caught a firefly. Clarise's dad let the firefly go but the firefly Charmaine caught did not want to fly off. Hence she put it in a plastic bag. Did you know that fireflies not only produce yellowish-white light but also red?

Haha ;D Just kidding. An uncle whose name I had forgotten had a pointer and pointed at the trees. Someone spotted and exclaimed that the fireflies produced red light. Everyone turned to see. Then the uncle informed that the red light was produced by his pointer. Everyone had a good laugh. ;DD

On our boat ride back, I was really bored and laid back to watch the stars. There were really many stars in the night sky. It was nice! ;D

Soon we reached the land and alighted. Even then, the firefly that Charmaine caught still didn't fly away. When we reached the land, an uncle gave Charmaine a zip bag and she placed the firefly inside. It was really a nice souvenir. I saw Donevant on my way back. As I passed him, he said, "You were scared right... heheh". I could help but laughed. The tone which he said was so cute! ;DDD And I replied that I was not scared at all. Though it was not entirely true. Hehe(: He didn't seem to believe too.

Okay, back to the situation. Almost everyone went to the washroom as we would be going to the customs after that. I also went to wash my hands. The tap was terribly small. ): After washing, I walked back to my bus. I saw Donevant again. Then, when I passed him again, he said ," Scaredy-cat." I replied that I was not and he laugh and smile. Haha ;DDD

Soon, we were on the way back to Singapore! ;DDDDDDDDDDDD

Okay. Enough of yesterday.

Today, after Sunday School, as usual, we went down to place our bags down. I saw Donevant sitting there helping Gretel's mother. Next, I followed Elaine, Germaine, Clarise and Gretel to the nearby coffeshop to buy drinks. When I came back, my mother wanted to leave already but I did not want to. I tried to stall time while I chat with my mother. Then I thought of a plan.

As if Donevant could read my mind, he asked if I wanted to help too. I was exhilarated. ;DDDDD

So for the 30 minutes or so, my mother and I were helping Gretel's mother.

I went back home soon afterwards.

What an exciting day! ;D

Hello!(: I just came back from a picnic at Pasir Ris beach. I totally enjoyed myself there! ;D Let me elaborate more.(:

I left the house at 3.45pm with my mother and sister and walked to Germaine's aunt's block to pass Germaine some food. Then we walked to the bus stop near the fishing pond to meet Germaine's cousin and to board the bus 403 to Pasir Ris Park. Sadly, we missed the bus earlier on and had to wait for about 15 minutes. Finally the bus came and we were on the way to the park. Between the journey, a group of rowdy guys boarded the bus and the peacefulness was soon gone.

A few more stops later and we alighted. It turns out that we should have alighted at the next stop instead, which was nearer. Thus we walked a long distance to the pit. After 10 minutes of walking, we finally reached our destination.(: We spotted a perfect shelter that was near the toilet and near a food stall. However, a couple was there already.

The thing is that we didn't find another shelter. Instead, we walked to the shelter where the couple was. The aunt and my mother had the 'theory' that if more people [meaning the rest] came, the couple will eventually move. I was so embarrassed to just be there.

To relieve my embarrassment, I walked to the beach, where the aunt's children were already playing with the water, to collect stones with my sister. After a few moments, Elaine came with her mother. Then Elaine and I walked down to the beach again to play with the rest. As I was writing 'LOL ;D' on the sand, Germaine, Charmine and their aunt came.

Soon, Germaine was collecting seaweed. LOL. Then, she and Elaine started collecting mussel. I wanted to help them but I was too terrified of the alive mussel so I just stayed near them.

After the 'collecting session' was over, we went to wash our feet and ate, except for Elaine. Next, Germaine and I proceeded to the playground with my sister, Charmine, two other cousins and the aunt's children. Elaine didn't follow us.): A few moments later, Elaine called to tell me to ask the people to go back for ice cream and also that Clarise had come. The rest didn't want to leave so I just went on my own. Clarise was drinking 'cheng teng' and Elaine was eating when I arrived. I stayed with them and tried to persuade them to go to the playground. Finally they decided to go.(:

We stayed at the playground for quite a long time. Over there, we joked, we laughed and we played. ;DDDDD Then we were called back. We ate / drank the ice pops and munch on chips. ;D

Then we played 'monkey' with the basketball. By that time it was already 7 plus [?] so it was kinda difficult for some of us [specifically me and Germaine but mostly it's me] to see the ball.

Just before we left, most of us ate durains. Aunty Sabrina drove me, my sister and my mother home [Thanks!(:] .

So that basically sum up the whole picnic. ;D

I can't wait for Sunday School! I think I learn more and better when Adrian teaches the class. The memory verses he gave are quite closely related to the lessons he taught so it was easy for me to remember! ;D But sadly, he only teaches for a shor period. ><
